About Us
Ascent Music Therapy, LLC was founded in the Spring of 2016 by board certified music therapist Andy LoDolce. We provide high-quality, evidenced-based, in-home music therapy services in the Denver Metro area, serving children with neurodevelopmental disabilities and their families. We primarily offer 1 hour, individualized therapy sessions, as well as small group sessions.
Ascent Music Therapy's philosophy of treatment is client-centered. To us that means ethical, client-benefitted and client-preferred service at all times. We also believe in a multidisciplinary approach, and a cooperative treatment environment. Our therapists are trained in Neurologic Music Therapy (NMT), and as a result, we are heavily focused on the neural aspect of treatment. That said, we are open to other approaches and techniques from outside of the NMT paradigm, and we actively strive to incorporate alternative viewpoints and protocols into treatment when beneficial. We recognize that every client is different, regardless of diagnosis, and different protocols may be necessary to best serve a particular client.
