Individual Music Therapy Sessions

Our one-on-one music therapy sessions are tailored to each client’s unique needs and goals. Using engaging, evidence-based interventions, sessions support growth in attention, communication, emotional expression, social skills, sensory regulation, and motor coordination.

Sessions last one hour, providing time for both therapy and thoughtful planning. Every client begins with assessment sessions to create a personalized plan, and families receive semi-annual progress reports to track meaningful growth.
Group Music Therapy
Group music therapy sessions provide a supportive, social environment where participants can work toward shared goals while benefiting from individualized attention. Sessions typically include 5–30 participants with similar needs, and are offered in school settings, mental health facilities, geriatric/assisted living communities, and day programs for children and adults with developmental disabilities.
During each one-hour session, the music therapist uses a variety of engaging interventions to promote growth across cognitive, speech and language, social, emotional, sensory, and motor domains. Group music therapy encourages collaboration, communication, social interaction, and skill-building in a motivating, musical environment.

Adapted Music Lessons

Our adapted music lessons are designed to help children with developmental disabilities learn an instrument or explore the fundamentals of music in a way that meets their unique needs. Unlike standard music lessons, these sessions are led by board-certified music therapists who tailor instruction to each child’s learning style, strengths, and goals.
Lessons typically occur once per week and focus on fostering success, confidence, and musical growth while accommodating each client’s individual needs.
